Obituary of Nicholas Panno
Nicholas M. Panno, a resident of Argyle, NY and North Palm Beach, FL, passed away on February 14, 2024 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL at the age of 95 after a short illness and a long, well-lived life.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was a devoted husband to his late wife, Carol (Henderer) Panno for over 60 years.
He is survived by his children, Stephen (Michele), Joanne Stallone (Michael), and Richard (Milissa); grandchildren, Nicole (Ryan) Washington, Ryan (Madi) Panno, Danielle Stallone, Keriann Panno (Christopher Berger), Jessica Stallone, Matthew Panno (Diana Giggans-Hill), Michael Stallone, and Nicholas Panno; and great-grandchildren, Benjamin Washington, Marlow Berger, and Grace Panno.
Nick proudly served his country in the United States Army. For many years he worked as a printer for Dispatch Press, and in his retirement owned and operated Lakeside Trailer Park on Cossayuna Lake. He enjoyed over 40 summers there with his family and many friends. Nick will be remembered for the many stories of his life that he loved to share, and how he always made everyone feel at home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Greenwich. His burial will follow in Our Lady of Help Cemetery in Glenmont.
