Obituary of Helena Chesterfield

Helena Chesterfield, 68, a resident of Ballston Lake, NY passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Saratoga Hospital. Born October 1, 1953 in Rosenheim, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Margarete Ludwig Dibrowa. Helena was a 1971 graduate of Schuylerville Central School. She worked in the Pro Shop at VanPatten Country Club Golf Course in Clifton Park for 15 years. She enjoyed line dancing at the Fish Creek Marina on Tuesday’s and vacationing at the ocean. Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Neil Chesterfield of Ballston Lake; 2 sons, Johnny Dunphy of Grayson, GA and Jeremy Dunphy of Ballston Spa; 4 grandchildren, Natasha, Patrick, Orin and Danika Dunphy; 1 sister, Valirie Crandall of NC; 1 brother, Alex Dibrowa of CA; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3pm Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave., Schuylerville with Celebrant Jason Easton, officiating. Memorials can be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
