I enjoyed helping Betty doing her puzzles. The laughter when I found where a piece goes made me laugh even harder. I will miss her so much. Love you Betty

She lived life long and hard. She liked everything in order and let you know if it wasn't. Simple pleasures were among her favorite ways to spend time. A card game, a nice meal, a jigsaw, a hand made greeting card for a friend, and anything for Chester: Those were the important things in her life. She laughed from her soul, cared from her heart, and worried over the minutia in her life. She was precious, she was honest, she was fragile and sometimes stubborn in her later years. She enjoyed running her household like a drill sargeant, square dancing the night away, and working like a horse in her younger days. She was a wife, a mother, a homemaker, a farmer. She was reliable and sturdy and always ready to give her best effort for the sake of family and friends. What a sad time it was to move from her beloved home to a nursing facility just to be isolated, in the end, by the pandemic from all those she held dear. I'm sure that she misses us all already. Upon her arrival it will be heaven that benefits from our loss here below. I loved her dearly, I'll think of her often, and I will miss her always. The luster of our world pales with her passing. May peace be with her.

To the entire Wilbur Family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Your Mom was always so sweet and friendly. She would always visit with us at the local Grand Union when she shopped. Your Mom was very proud of her family and it certainly showed when she talked about each and everyone of you. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
