Obituary of Peter Townsend

Peter Tabor Townsend, 61 of Corinth and Greenwich, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, surrounded by his OPWDD family.

Peter was born on December 28, 1957 in Cambridge, NY.  He was the son of Lois (McNall) and Glen Townsend Sr. 

In addition to his parents Peter was predeceased by his sister Betty Ann.

Peter is survived by his siblings, Brenda (Dino) Facin, Eileen (Larry) Kath, Glen (Heidi) Townsend Jr. and Marilyn (Ben) Rogers all of Greenwich and Susan Douglas of Saratoga Springs, NY.

Peter’s family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to his other family Dr. Byron, Dr. Judkinski, Maureen Clancy, and the Corinth and Meadow Lane house staff where they always took amazing care of our brother.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 6pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834 with the Rev. Sandra Spaulding officiating.

Family and friends may call from 5-6pm prior to the service.
