Obituary of Mary Ellen Light

Mary Ellen Garrison Light, 61, a longtime resident of Greenwich passed away unexpectedly at home Sunday, December 2, 2018.

She was born August 2, 1957 in Beacon, NY to the late William and Margaret Catalano Garrison.

Mary Ellen was a proud mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had no greater joy than her grandchildren.  Mary Ellen was a well loved and generous woman and she will be missed dearly by all.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Howard Russell Light;

Survivors include her loving children Troy Howard Light of Greenwich, Dawn Marie (Kyle) Light of Greenwich, and Heather Anne (Willis) Conklin of Shaftsbury, VT; 6 grandchildren Molly Elizabeth and Donovan Andrew Light, Andrew Jacob Tompkins, Ryan Thomas, Kady Krystine and Karlee Marielle Mulligan; several nieces and nephews; 2 brothers William Garrison Jr. and Gary (Erin) Garrison.

A celebration of Mary Ellen’s life with a chance to share memories of her, will be held at 2pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main St, Greenwich, NY, 12834.
